PCANews - I wonder when Americans will take the Muslim threats against the West and Christianity seriously. From the early days of Islam until now there has been an ongoing spiritual war between Islam and Christianity.
Americans need to awaken to the growth of Islam in America. The Zwemer Institute seeks to educate Christians about the growth, worldview and dangers of Islam.
What do you know of the beliefs and practices of Islam? What is the Islamic worldview? How many Muslims are there in America? What is its plan for world domination? How are Muslims evangelizing America? What is the best way to reach Muslims with the gospel?

Perhaps it is time for you or your church to sponsor a day or weekend seminar about Islam in America. The Zwemer Institute offers weekend and other courses to inform believers about the basic tenets and practices of Islam.
The School Across the Street
This time it's not the Mosque next door, it's the school across the street. Schools in Arizona, New Jersey, Michigan, and California, among others, are requiring students to take courses in Islam.
The courses require students to learn the teachings of Islam, study important figures of Islam, wear Islamic clothes, adopt a Muslim name, and stage their own jihad. Adding to this, students must memorize many verses from the Qur'an, are taught to pray, "In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful," and chant, "Praise to Allah, Lord of Creation."
Could this happen at a school in your community? Are you sure it's not happening now? Elizabeth Lernings, a teacher in California, was unaware that her children were being taught this course until her children brought home handouts from the school. The handouts included a history of Islam, the life of Muhammad, six Arabic Islamic phrases, the Five Pillars of Islam, and other teachings of Islam that the children were required to memorize.
What would your have done? The school principal said the course "reflects California's educational standards. When asked if any parents had complained the school the principal said, "Oh, a couple of parents called to express concerns, three to be exact." Would you have called? What would you have said?
